AKC Tracking Dog (TD) and AKC Track Certified

Emi has been a fantastic addition to our home, joining us in mid-September of 2008. When we had opportunity to get her, we jumped at the chance because of her personality, solid temperament, drives,  and fantastic pedigree. She is a 5 year old girl out of old (and some of the best ever!) DDR lines, including the great Frei - Enno v. Antreftal - Drigon v. Furhmannshoff - Uwe v. Kirschental line. Her pedigree also contains such notables as Bodo v. Grafental, Jim v.d. Stadt-Schmalkalden and Agar  z Pohranicni Straze. Emi's pedigree contains a long list of excellent hip production in addition to performance titles.  Emi is a spectacular tracking dog, and our ultimate goal is to pursue the elusive AKC Champion Tracker designation from the AKC. She has completed the first 2 steps toward that goal, and will be continuing next year with more tests! We are very impressed with her temperament and the work ethic that she shows. 

Emi was the mother of our "J" litter (sire was our Fritz) - Jinx, Jenga, Jasper, Jester, Joker, Jackie, Junebug, and Jade - 8 beautiful healthy pups born 3/12/09. Emi was a wonderful mother and the entire litter showed superb temperament. We kept Jinx from this breeding, and frequently stay in touch with the owners of the other pups in the litter. We are thrilled with how they are growing. We look forward to another litter from Emi in the spring. 

9/27/09 Emi earns her AKC track certification under AKC Tracking judge Pam German in Loves Park, IL. Emi flew through her 1/4 mile track effortlessly and found the article at the end in just under 4 minutes! Super work!

11/15/09 - Emi earns her AKC Tracking Dog title (TD) in Eagle, WI at the Western Waukesha County Dog Training Club tracking test. Great work Emi! Emi's track was over a 1/4 mile long and had 5 corners and several changes of cover. Heavy and abundant deer and critter paths crossed the the tracking fields, making tracking a real challenge, but Emi had great focus throughout!

Emi has OFA Good hips (GS-71295G24F-PI) and is a medium size black sable. She has a very solid, "blocky" look about her and an irresistable personality.
